about me

hello! my name is miya, and i'm a full time professional illustrator who works from home to produce commission based art! i have a wonderful cat (polaris) and dog (serina) who i love with all of my heart! my other hobby is video games(sometimes getting in the way of my work... ehehe...), of which i normally play ffxiv, league of legends, genshin impact, etcetc. i typically play things that are "in season" at the time as well. i live with 3 room mates who are like family to me, and I'm very blessed. ♥ i should also mention i do suffer from ptsd and severe depression, so sometimes my output will falter a bit, but i try to keep everyone updated if anything occurs, just so you are aware. if it matters, i am also 30 years old and i go by they/he pronouns!

work practices

normally i work 5 days a week, though at the moment it's a bit more since I am playing catch up from a rough hiatus I took in 2023. however, i try to keep a very close relationship with my clients so they always know what is going on with me! right now, my commissions are open with the caveat of about a month or so wait. it may differ from time to time, but i'll give a quote before commissioning occurs. i do not take any waitlist, it is all chosen at my discretion, NOT first come first serve!

if you are interested in seeing any of my past works, i keep a documentation of everything i have ever completed, and as it stands, my maximum output is about 30 completed pieces a month! so you can see, i work as hard as i can to create! i will keep working even harder to that end. and thank you so much for reading my about me this day, i hope it gave you a little insight into my life!

terms of service

now onto the nitty gritty--my terms of service! this may change as time goes on, but clients who this will affect will be notified before any changes are made, or they will not be held to the standard of the new terms before their commission is complete.

  1. Any commission can be declined, from either patron or otherwise, for any reason whatsoever. A reason does not need to be explicitly stated if you are declined a commission.

  2. Refunds are given at only 2 stages of completion. If the commission has not been started, you may receive a full refund, if sketch is completed, 50% refund. After that, no refund may be given. Please be aware of my commission ETA and possible expenses in daily life before ordering. Refunds may also, in rare circumstance, be issued at any time by myself for any reason whatsoever. If the refund is issued by myself, however, it will likely be a 100% refund.

  3. You agree by commissioning me that I am allowed to use your commission to promote myself, my art, and use it as an example for future works in portfolio fashion. I will not sell your commission of course, simply use as advertising.

  4. I am free to manipulate color palette for the sake of aesthetic. Super saturated colors may be muted, for example, or blended with other colors. Please be aware of my coloring style when ordering.

  5. Only major details can be changed at sketching stage, and after that point, only minor details. If a major detail you may have forgotten needs to be added in last minute, there may be an extra fee, so please be aware of all necessary changes before approving the sketch.

  6. You will receive multiple WIP's. One for each major stage; sketch (need approval for that for the customer), base colors, first stage shading and possibly other pieces if the piece takes long. I am always willing to show progress if you ask, as well.

  7. Turn around time is anywhere from a week to a few months. The maximum time you will be made to wait with no contact(after paying) is 6 months. If the 6 month mark has passed, a refund can be issued regardless of completion progress, if the commissioner requests that. Customer service is important, and I will do my best to update clients daily if emergencies arise.

  8. Things I will not draw include: Intense blood/gore, TF (transformation sequences between furry/human), images depicting an overly political or religious idea, feet explicitly, or pregnancy, children in any way, minors(non-nsfw may be okay), any kind of explicit fetish art(more may be added to this list as need be).

  9. If your commission is NSFW, each case is handled independently. I may or may not approve depending on the content, but the only type of NSFW I will consider is consenting mature adults(no incest).

  10. If your commission is a gift for someone else, please tell me who the gift is for. I have a private blacklist and would prefer not to draw for certain individuals.

  11. You can order more than 1 commission at once, but there is no discount for ordering subsequent commissions at once. Each commission you order will be treated as its own order. Ordering more than one at once simply means it will most likely be done around the same time!

  12. Payment is through Paypal only. I use invoices to process payment. Only 1 invoice is sent per commission order. If you are splitting a commission with a friend, please coordinate so all money is still sent through invoice via one Paypal.
